WHAT IS THE ENTERPRISE EXCHANGE? This is a forum convened for non-profit charities and for-profit businesses to identify best practices from each sector that may be applied for mutual benefit to each enterprise.  The businesses and non-profits will be guided through an intentional benefit discovery process fostering connections that will prosper, both, the Abilene business community and local charities. WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Small Business Owners, Entrepreneurs, Managers, Supervisors and others interested in growing healthy local businesses.  Non-profit directors, staff and (especially) board members who are interested in making greater impact advancing their social missions. WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND? Non-profits need to diversify their revenue generation efforts to include social enterprise strategies; however, most non-profits are so focused on their respective missions that they lack the entrepreneurial mindset and expertise to implement strategies in which the business community excels.  Businesses can benefit from the purpose-driven tactics employed by the non-profit community that understands the value of going beyond the bottom line.  This is a great cross-training event where enterprises (for-profit and non-profit) can exchange ideas, expertise and resources that will benefit the entire Abilene community.
