THE ENTERPRISE EXCHANGE LUNCHEON

August 16, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

SCROLL DOWN FOR REGISTRATION FORM AND INFORMATION
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: THURSDAY AUGUST 9TH

For businesses, non-profit organizations and anyone interested in being socially responsive.  This 4-hour event will focus on how to implement social enterprise strategies using unique legal entities such as the newly legislated Public Benefit Corporation (PBC).  Social enterprises operate a business by selling in a market, and can be registered as for-profit, non-profit or a PBC.  They seek to balance activities providing financial benefit with social goals.  Funding is provided primarily through selling goods and services, though they may also receive money from grants. A social enterprise operates differently than a typical company because profit-maximization is not the only motivation.  You are invited to hear out-of-the-box entrepreneurs and leaders who are successfully blending the power of the marketplace with the passion of purpose to improve their communities.  Read our event summary for more information on speakers and schedule.
